As Brazil experiences one of the most critical moments of its (still) young democracy and witnesses the trial of a former president accused of attempted coup d'état, the United States has decided to be one of the interested parties in the matter and exert influence over the others involved.
While the 80th UN General Assembly is still underway and some European states are willing to do what more than 140 other countries have already done (recognize Palestine as a state), the United States has decided to be a stakeholder in the matter and exert influence to block the resolution. While the United States decides on all these matters—some of which constitute unexpected attacks on the essence of democracy—the Shanghai Cooperation Organization has decided to be an alternative to the chaos in which the West lives.
Everything to see in this week's program of The Art of War, with ambassador Francisco Seixas da Costa and hosted by journalist António Freitas de Sousa.
